It has obtained the Hallmark 111 award for its facilities and management. The hall has a rustic look from the outside in keeping with the surrounding countryside but is light and spacious inside. It is modern in design, boasting an attractive main hall, a committee room and kitchen.
It is the venue for many varieties of clubs, activities, dance and classes that are available for everyone.
It has a large car park which can hold approximately 50 cars within its own grounds. The hire charges are competitive whether for shows, weddings, conferences, courses and parties.
The main hall dimensions are 9 metres by 14 metres. Hirers can cater for up to 120 sit-down meals. Facilities at the hall include disabled access, a removable stage, spot lights, PA system, projector, and screen.
The hall has a Performing Right Society Licence which allows performanceof copyright music. The hall is set in lovely countryside and is a beautiful venue for wedding receptions. The hall has everything that is needed to make a wonderful reception from a well equipped kitchen for either self catering or outside caterers to a lovely background for the photographs of the memorable day.
This space is light and airy and can seat up to 120 people. Double doors open for access to the grass area. The hall can provide tables and chairs, crockery, cutlery for all functions. The hall has a Premises Licence to sell Alcohol.
Well maintained and attractive grounds offering plenty of room for events such as barbeques, garden parties, and fetes. With ample room for a marquee, it is perfect for wedding receptions and parties too . The hall has off the road parking for around 50 cars.
This is a smaller room adjacent to the main hall seating up to a dozen people. It can be hired separately from the main hall and is often hired for committee meetings for various clubs and associations. It has independent access from the entrance hall.
The kitchen is 4m x 3m. This is fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher and a Rangemaster cooker. There is a large selection of cutlery, crockery and tea cups which are free to use for the hirer. A double sink for clearing up. The kitchen has a large servery area that opens out on the main hall.
Standard rate - Monday to Friday before 7pm is £12 per hour.
Private parties - After 7pm and at weekends is £18 per hour.
Large parties - 40 or more we require a £250 returnable damage deposit.
Additional time/hours for preparation/decoration or setting up must also be included in the hours
required when booking.
Stage, microphone, drop down screen and overhead projector are available for use on request for no additional fee.

The hall is set in picturesque grounds in a rural setting in the village of Lower Hardres and is 10 minutes from Canterbury and also 15 minutes from the M20. The hall is available for wedding receptions throughout the year, with access available from the night before for preparing the hall as well as the following morning for clearing up.

To include from 7pm the previous day to late afternoon of the day following, £650 (due to increase to £700 in May 2020) with a £100 deposit at time of booking Plus a £250 returnable damage deposit.
